Hello and welcome to Friar Gate Counselling & Psychotherapy, an affordable, empathic, caring and confidential counselling and psychotherapy service where positive outcomes can be explored.
Located at 32 Friar Gate, in Derby's professional quarter, right next to The Friar Gate Bridge, an iconic landmark amongst the thriving bustle of up market restaurants, coffee shops and diverse enterprise.
As an integrative counsellor, I aim to provide a professional, welcoming, confidential and non-judgmental service with the focus being on each individual's unique therapeutic needs. I provide a private counselling service, for short term crisis intervention, time-limited or open-ended therapy depending on the client's needs and their situation.
Through the therapeutic relationship, I will aim to help you discover and explore new ways of approaching life – ways which are less compromised by previous behavioural patterns which have contributed to your ability to cope and function in the present. I am a member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and adhere to their Code of Ethics.
